Job Title: Database Administrator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Profile

  • We are looking for an innovative, self-driven and ambitious Database Administrator to join our technology team
  • As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the health, performance, and integrity of our database systems

Responsibilities

  • Participate in database server architecture and design as well as server environment recommendations for the overall infrastructure solution including storage capacity planning
  • Responsible for database alerts, maintenance plans and scripts to acquire, store, and transform data for the company’s data warehouse and its various users
  • Manage database security and control access permissions and privileges
  • Maintain the health, performance, and integrity of the database systems
  • Responsible for availability, reliability and integrity of business data stored in production databases
  • Perform SQL server administration and maintenance functions
  • Communicate regularly with the development team, business, and operations team to ensure the security and confidentiality of data
  • Resolve production database issues and implement improvements to prevent a recurrence of the issue
  • Backup and restore databases when necessary
  • ?Design and develop architecture for data warehouse including source data ETL (Extract Transform and Load) strategy, data movement and aggregation as well as data quality strategy

Requirements

  • B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, or any other related field
  • At least 3 years DBA work experience in a Fintech company, Telecommunication company, IT Infrastructure company, software company, etc
  • Candidate should have a good knowledge of software, IT Infrastructure, Payment, and banking
  • Strong capabilities in Database Management
  • Candidate must be highly proficient in problem solving, time management, analytical thinking, ambitious and have a great drive to succeed
  • Candidate must have strong attention to detail, great communication skills and works well in a team

Job Title: Mobile Developer

Location: Lagos

Job Profile

  • We are looking for an innovative, self-driven and ambitious Mobile Developer to join our Development team
  • As a Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for developing, Implementing, and supporting our mobile applications

Responsibilities

  • Develop, Implement, and Support software products and solutions that integrate with in-house and third – party systems
  • Provide support to business analysts in the conversion of individual client business requirements into software functionality
  • Provide training to client end users with relevant tools and technical documentation
  • Lead a technical work stream as a component of a larger project
  • Provide subject – matter expertise, customer advocacy, and analysis through all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Communicate effectively well with internal / external parties

  • Experience with embedded databases like SQLite
  • Good communication skills

  • An aptitude for analytical problem – solving

Job Title: Technical Recruiter

Job Profile

  • We are looking for an innovative, self-driven and ambitious Technical Recruiter to join our Human Resources team! As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for implementing AppZone’s Talent Acquisition strategy which entails sourcing, recruiting, and retaining the best and brightest minds.

Responsibilities

  • Applying effective sourcing and talent acquisition strategies that attract qualified candidates for the Technology team.
  • Planning interviews and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience
  • Working closely with the Managers towards building a diverse and qualified tech team to support the organization.
  • Maintaining a healthy pool of quality candidates for tech roles across the business.
  • Preparing job descriptions in liaison with hiring managers and placing effective ads, ensuring they represent Appzone as an employer of choice.
  • Pre-screening applications and providing high-quality shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Partnering end to end with Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Attending and actively take part in Tech recruitment projects and campaigns in alignment with the Recruitment Strategy.
  • Communicating regularly and effectively with all stakeholders (including candidates, Hiring Managers, Leadership team, Agencies) to ensure a pleasant recruitment experience.
  • Keep up to date with new technological trends and products.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in a Technology environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicant tracking systems, sourcing techniques (e.g social media recruiting, boolean search strings and other innovative recruitment tools.
  • The knowledge of a variety of selection methods (interviews, assessments, psychometric test, etc.)
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
  • A creative, innovative approach to delivering on recruitment targets.
  • Experience working with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing, and Recruitment Marketing tools.
  • A high-level ability to prioritize and is goal oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to deal with confidential or sensitive information in a discreet and professional manner.
  • An exceptional organization and time-management skills.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Technology field.
  • We currently run a hybrid work structure; some days are remote while others require you collaborate with colleagues at the office location. For each situation, you may have:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to travel extensively on recruiting assignments where required.
  • Candidates will function within the group and reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager
